The thing that most excites me about coloring is that anyone can do it. You can use coloring to keep your hands busy while watching tv or listening to your favorite podcasts. (I’m always looking for fun new podcasts, so hit me up if you’ve got a great one to share with me.) Let your children color while you’re getting dinner ready. Coloring is the perfect activity for a girls’ weekend trip. You can keep the kids quiet on a road trip with just a cheap box of crayons or colored pencils and something to color. Coloring has even been proven to relax you after a stressful day at the office.

I love coloring because it’s a fun way to get those creative juices flowing without having to put too much thought into it. Besides, when you finish that coloring page, you have a sense of accomplishment that you CREATED something! You!

Wouldn’t you like the opportunity to have new designs to color every month without having to break the bank? Each month I will drop 4 new designs that will get you excited for the upcoming month/season and inspire your creativity. Print them all out and go to town! Mess one up? That’s ok - just print out another one!  You can print multiples so the kids don't fight over them. Print them out for your child’s Sunday School class or birthday party. You can even import them and color them on your iPad.

All of my drawings are sized to fit on an 8.5x11 (letter) sheet of paper.

So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and try them out! For the price of a cheeseburger, you too can have brand new drawings to color every month!

color-by-month faq:

When will you post new drawings?

Every month on the last day of the month I will post the drawings for next month. For example, on April 30, the May drawings will drop. On June 30th, the July drawings will drop.

Are these digital files?

Yes, they are digital files. You will receive all 4 of the drawings in both a PDF and PNG (transparent background). The PDF is for printing and the PNG file is for coloring on your iPad.

Can I use them at school?

Yes you can, but each teacher needs to purchase them separately for their classroom. Please contact me if you would like to work out another purchase/licensing agreement.

How do I load my drawings into Procreate?

You will download the PNG file (the PDF won’t work for this) to your “files” on your iPad. In Procreate (a $9.99 drawing/coloring app) you will click “photo” at the top right (beside the + button). Navigate to your monthly drawing, click on it, and voila - it’s now in Procreate! Be sure to add another layer below the drawing and use that layer for coloring! OR… go watch the video below!

What are some of your favorite supplies?

I love Crayola Supertips. They come in a gazillion colors and don’t cost an arm-and-a-leg. I also really like colored pencils. Any will work, but Prismacolor are my favorite. The Prismacolor brand is a bit more expensive, but they’re totally worth it in my opinion! Gel pens and fine tip pens are also great to use for tiny details. I like Zebra gel pens (all gel pens are great, actually) and PaperMate Flair pens.
