Why are tiny things just so cute?

For real though? Tiny stickers. Tiny little flowers. Tiny kittens and puppies. Tiny little seahorses. Those tiny brown frogs we ALWAYS see hopping around on our back patio in the spring.

Tiny little notebooks are no different.

Want to know how to make your own teeny-tiny little notebook? They’re really super simple to make and you can do TONS of different adorably-small things with them.

All you really need is 1 sheet of paper and a pair of scissors:

First you’re going to fold your sheet of paper in half along the long side. Then unfold and fold it again in half the other way.

Then you’re going to fold one edge up and the other edge up - folding it into a “W” (or an “M” as I did in this center picture). Then you’re going to cut this center fold line from the edge to the other fold (see next photo)…

After this cut is made, you’re going to fold the whole sheet down into an “X”. Then all you have to do is crease the folds and voila: a mini-book!

And you can do SO MANY different things with them! Class notes (if you have tiny handwriting like my youngest daughter does), Illustrations , Love letters, a miniature art journal… the possibilities are truly endless!

You know my love for journals runs deep, but these mini books are free to make (if you have a sheet of paper) and they don't really take much work. And the best part about it is that your supply list is gonna be REALLY short... you only need 2 things: a sheet of paper and some scissors.

AND just because I’m EXTRA, here’s a cute little illustrated tutorial to download and print out. Just click the photo below and a jpg will download to your phone or computer!

Q:

What are you going to create with your mini book? Here’s an idea: next week is Valentines Day... it would be totally ADORABLE to create a mini book of Valentines to give your sweetheart.
